We live lives of quiet desperation- so wrote an America writer named Henry David Thoreau over 150 years ago, in our world today- where flux and instability appear to be norm, how much more do we hunger for truth and long for significance, indeed many wonder whether there is such a thing as truth and if so, can it be really known? What, in turn, brings life meaning? In a generation not unlike ours, Jesus declared “ You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free” this truth of which he spoke was not only of an idea, but himself. For everyone truth is a value and only for us truth is a person and that is Jesus Christ.

Throughout history Jesus faced significant challenges from other world views and cultures and understandably so, for Jesus claimed to be unique in every way, is such a message plausible? We at CCT seek to reach out , touch and change lives that will shape our future through the Gospel and through actions.

We believe God is to be encountered. The total witness of Scripture speaks of the desire of God to be encountered. Our worship times are committed to the reality of His people encountering His Presence. Our love is loud but completely focused on Jesus! We are zealous for the beautiful exchange that happens between our hearts and His, in times of unbroken and extended worship. We really like to worship! We believe God is to be known. Scripture is an amazing gift. We are committed to studying the text, verse by verse, and growing in what we know of Him.
